I truly enjoyed this workshop by Alex Strohl. I am super pumped and inspired to start editing my own photos and to get out there and create new sets that tell a story. Thanks Alex for your beautiful energy and passion that are highly contagious. A lot of great tips and information in here too. I highly recommend.

Alex is always fantastic at inspiring others in photography, but with this workshop, he takes it a step further with a more 'hands-on' approach teaching you tips, techniques, and valuable input so you can think about it and apply it yourself. You'll learn so much! Definitely recommend it!

It is interesting to learn from two different examples to build a story around two Summer experiences. From preparing, the actual shoot, and editing. Alex is open on his approach, thoughts and decisions throughout the whole process. It is above all practical and not less important entertaining. I enjoyed every minute. I am already anticipating my 'post Corona' Summer shoot.

First online workshop, way more inspiring than I was expecting when I purchased it. For me this has not been a classic series of lectures, but an introspective process of improvement, which I am now applying to my photography. This for sure won't be my last workshop here on Wildist! Thanks Alex!!

This workshop has given me some new direction in my approach to taking photos. Alex has valuable tips for both the shooting and editing processes. He’s made it easy to understand while inspiring you to do your own thing.

Alex is just as inspiring with his workshop as he is with his photographs. He emphasizes a creative approach supported by a second-nature understanding of the tech. I myself don't even own a camera, but I've been borrowing a 5D Mark ii w/ a third party lens. Alex makes me feel like a photographer regardless of the gear I have. I've also never touched Lightroom or Photoshop before and his editing sessions gave me a quick rundown so I could get started. I'm now preparing to launch a separate photography page as I ramp up my California photo trips as practice for travel abroad. With Alex's workshop and his continual inspiration through example, I am rapidly strengthening my photography and exploring more than ever before. Cheers to Alex and his team. I sincerely recommend.

Alex's workshops have absolutely been worth the cost. While its possible to gain a lot of free information on photography skills through the internet and YouTube, Alex's invaluable tips go several steps further. You will not regret buying the workshop.

Alex does a fantastic job of making you want to discover yourself and what you can do through photography! Exploring the world around me in great depth is something Alex inspired me to do, and if you're up to the challenge, he can teach you how to do that as well! You'll learn to capture the little things in a unique and memorable way!!

Alex's sophomore workshop doesn't disappoint. He openly shares his thought process, his vision and his creative workflow in a way that is warm and welcoming. His section on gear is straight forward and he does a great job explaining "why" he choses each piece of equipment. His style and the way he delivers his workshop is just so easy to listen to and it really feels like your just having a in depth conversation with a friend, who happens to be a master of his chosen craft, photography. My favorite section is actually the bonus material "Planning and researching the perfect trip," where he shares travel hacks and his process of researching a trip. I learned a few really great tools and can't wait for his next workshop. Thanks Alex!
